Scottie Woodard's bio
As a performer in the San Francisco Bay Area he had the pleasure of working with some really lovely people. He has worked with Berkeley Playhouse, Center Repertory Theatre, Woodminster Amphitheater, 42nd Street Moon, Lucky Penny Productions and Contra Costa Musical Theater. Some of his favorite roles include: 9 to 5 (Dwayne), Scrooge in Love (Ghost of Christmas Present) and Forever Plaid and Plaid Tidings (Sparky), Mamma Mia (Father Alexandrios), It Shoulda Been You (Albert), Ragtime (JP Morgan), Billy Elliot (Mr. Braithwaite), Tarzan (Terk), Titanic (Charles Clarke). Bonnie and Clyde (Buck), The Andrews Brothers (Lawrence), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Hysterium), Hairspray (Corny Collins), Les Miserables (Marius), Peter Pan (Captain Hook), Avenue Q (Rod/Princeton), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip), The Secret Garden (Neville), Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Jimmie), and Guys and Dolls (Nicely Nicely). He has also had quite a successful turn as a director and choreographer in several productions including: 110 in the Shade, Annie, Forever Plaid, Andrews Brothers, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Mary Poppins, Godspell (which received 11 Arty awards) and Lucky Penny's, Stockton Civic Theatre's and Berkeley Playhouse’s productions of The Little Mermaid.
